France Export Céréales is a non-profit association built and financed by grain producers.
Its aim is to promote the use of French cereals in international markets.
One office in Beijing was founded in 1991 by wheat growers. Then, they established France Export Céréales in 1997 in cooperation with other grain growers. The first president was Mr. Henri de Benoist, a grain producer in the Champagne area.
Since 2007, Mr. Jean-Pierre Langlois-Berthelot has been president of France Export Céréales. He is a grain producer in Normandy.
France Export Céréales is entirely financed by a compulsory levy on marketed grains. France Export Céréales’ annual budget reaches 2.3 million euros and varies depending on the size of the year’s harvest.
